How is the accuracy level of pressure transmitters classified?

2025 03/24

The accuracy level of pressure transmitters is classified based on their maximum allowable error, and the following are common classification criteria:
1.Level 0.1 : indicates that the maximum allowable error of the transmitter is ± 0.1% of the full range. For example, a 0.1 level pressure transmitter with a full range of 10MPa has a maximum error of no more than ± 0.01MPa.

2.Level 0.2: The maximum allowable error is ± 0.2% of the full scale. For the above 10MPa full-scale transmitter, the error shall not exceed ± 0.02MPa.
3.Level 0.5: The maximum allowable error is ± 0.5% of the full range, which means that the error is within ± 0.05MPa when the full range is 10MPa.
4.Level 1.0: The maximum allowable error is ± 1.0% of the full scale, corresponding to a full scale of 10MPa, with an error not exceeding ± 0.1MPa.
5.Level 1.5: The maximum allowable error is ± 1.5% of the full scale. At a full scale of 10MPa, the error range is ± 0.15MPa.

The smaller the value of the accuracy level, the higher the measurement accuracy of the transmitter, and the relatively higher the price. In practical applications, the appropriate accuracy level of pressure transmitters should be selected based on specific measurement requirements and budget.
