Installation
1.Installation environment selection: Dry, well ventilated, and non strong electromagnetic interference areas should be selected to avoid installation in high temperature, humid, or corrosive gas environments. At the same time, it should be easy for operators to observe, operate, and maintain.
2.Pipeline installation requirements
①Requirements for straight pipe section: The length of the upstream straight pipe section where the flowmeter is installed should be ≥ 20 times the pipe diameter, and the length of the downstream straight pipe section should be ≥ 5 times the pipe diameter to ensure a stable flow state of the fluid before entering the flowmeter.
②Installation direction: Ensure that the fluid flow direction is consistent with the arrow direction on the flowmeter housing, and do not install it upside down.
③Concentric installation: The flowmeter should be installed concentric with the pipeline to avoid measurement errors caused by eccentric installation.
④Avoid vibration: The flowmeter should be installed away from the vibration source. If it cannot be avoided, shock-absorbing measures should be taken, such as using shock-absorbing brackets or rubber hose connections.
3.Connection method:
Choose the appropriate connection method based on the pipeline connection method and diameter size, such as flange connection, threaded connection, or clamp connection. Ensure good sealing during connection to prevent leakage.
4.Filter installation:
In order to prevent impurities from entering the flowmeter and affecting measurement accuracy and service life, a suitable filter should be installed upstream of the flowmeter, with a filtration accuracy generally not less than 200 mesh.
5.Installation of bypass pipeline:
Cut off valves should be installed upstream and downstream of the flowmeter, and a bypass pipeline should be set up to ensure that the normal operation of the pipeline system is not affected during maintenance or repair of the flowmeter.
